Behind the Scenes | Logo Design
The inspiration to build a brand struck while working on the largest of my many projects- working title, “Reimagined Fantasy.” It hit me that my biggest creative drives are novelty, variety, perspective, and inclusion. I want to make “fun,” and I want to do it by showing people how to look at old things in a new way. I pulled the “re-” from this motivation, then brainstormed for gaming symbolism that felt like home. The classic “circle-square-triangle” combo hit the mark for me as inherently playful and nostalgic, and from there I thought that maybe these old shapes could be represented in a “new” way. Rather than a linear or radial arrangement, I wanted to stack them upon each other, so that whatever they represented, they did it as one.
Symbolism of the Shapes:

The Square represents the tabletop surface, as well as the structure and rules that exist in tabletop gaming.
When clear rules are set and fair structure is maintained, creativity and fun are able to flourish upon a foundation where people feel included and understand how to participate.
We strive to build a culture where every game night with us leaves you knowing that you belong.

The Triangle symbolizes gameplay, with each point representing a core aspect of storytelling: creativity, conflict, and motion.
A compelling narrative requires a delicate balancing of these aspects. Too much of any piece creates a noisy and overwhelming story or game, whereas too little causes them to feel dull and boring.
An equilateral triangle was chosen to represent the unity between these parts that we strive to establish. It extends past the bounds of the Square because we want to be a part of creating experiences that are larger than the table. It also stands upright like a roof—instead of forward facing like the play symbol—because it was important to represent the home we find in our gaming communities.

The Circle represents people, players, community, and accountability.
No game can be played without someone to play it, and often times, that’s multiple someones! Reshaped Gaming aims to become a community space, forever interested in bringing people together. You and your friends are the front and center of every game night!
We believe in responsible ownership and taking accountability, so we’re happy to know what you think of us. And we want to improve accordingly!
